​AJs

The AJs are an acoustic, folk rock jam band playing covers and original material. The band has a variety of influences and backgrounds such as the Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon, Phil Keaggy, Jann Arden and many more. The AJs love to perform and often make use of three part vocal harmony.

The AJs have been playing together since May, 2007, and are from Greater Moncton in New Brunswick. Andrew, Jeremy and Jill had performed together in various other groups or ensembles prior to the bands' creation and finally decided to make the AJs a permanent group. As the band played more frequently, Brandon Price joined to round out the harmonies and instrumentation, adding a whole new dynamic to the sound! The band enjoys combining technical ability with the loose and free flowing jam band style. The band name is derived from the first letters the original band members' names (Andrew, Jeremy and Jill) and was initially created as a light hearted jokename when performing at a local music event. After having performed under that name a few times the band decided to keep it. Since having Brandon join, we need a new name...The BAJ's?...we're open to suggestions!

Jeremy and Jill are married, living in Moncton and work in the education field. Andrew lives in Riverview, works for Atlantic Wellness and is the Mayor of Riverview. Brandon lives in Dieppe and works in computer programming.

The AJs cover a wide variety of music and play a little something for everyone. They have covered Taio Cruz's "Dynamite", Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", Jann Arden's "Good Mother" and much more.
